About One Hand One Bounce

World Cricket Watch has assembled a crackpot team in the desperate hope of creating the greatest cricket podcast on the web. When we first came up with the idea for the show it was based on the notion that great podcasts rely on great conversations, and that cricket, more than any other sport, provides the perfect backdrop for conversation that can reach beyond the specificities of sport to culture and society. We all know that the best cricket writing is also a great way of finding out about the particularities of a given time or place, and we hoped that a podcast could do the same.

Friday Funny: Bremner does Bumble to promote English T20

The ECB are going to new lengths to try and promote T20 in England. What better way than poking a bit of fun at one of the most entertaining characters in the English game and media?

They’ve employed famous impersonator and big cricket fan Rory Bremner to do an impersonation of the legend that is Bumble. Marketing efforts to promote cricket have a tendency to be pretty bad…but this one I think is actually really good.

Bumble himself during the rainy 3rd odi vs the West Indies described it as being “spooky”.

I’ll let you be the judge of that though…

Tell us what you think of it in the comments….

Bumble Loves Cricket!
