Afridi Eats Cricket Ball

Afridi: “Seven Things that Taste Worse than a Cricket Ball”

As we all saw yesterday, Shahid Afridi has an interesting choice in what constitutes food – maybe he is feeling a little bit deranged following his surprising omission from the forthcoming IPL? In any case, I have it on good authority that although Afridi was not impressed with the taste of said cricket ball it did not rank in the seven worst things he has ever eaten.

Without further ado, here is the exclusive list:

1.Snails - Even Afridi couldn’t believe these were a delicacy in France.

afridi made downpayments on a ferrari and a yacht

Shahid Afridi in Bankruptcy Shock

Afridi Destroys Australia with Career Best Figures of 6 for 38

No Comments 23 April 2009

Pakistan won by 4 wickets as Shahid Afridi took a career best 6-38. Australia’s shocking decimation was caused by a collapse of a major magnitude – as they lost 6 for 15 to be bowled out for 168. At one stage, they were well placed at 95-1 prior to the Afridi wrecking ball going into motion. Newcomer Saeed Ajmal took 2-19 in 10 overs to provide support to Afridi as only James Hope (48 not out) came to terms with the spin twins. 1st ODI, Dubai, Apr 2009.
